Turkey Chili

I love a good one pot meal and this turkey chili is one of my very favorites. I tweaked this recipe numerous times over the years and have finally gotten it to its final state. This hearty chili has just the right amount of spice (kids can absolutely eat it, though you can omit the pepper if your kids prefer no spice at all) and the seasoning blend is flavorful without becoming overpowering.

Browning the turkey with onions and garlic.

Like many one-pot meals, I have actually found that this chili tastes even better on day 2 or day 3, after the flavors have had a chance to full meld. That means this is a dish that you can easily prepare ahead of time, store in the fridge or freezer, and then reheat when ready to serve.
